Jonette Valenciano

Manila, Philippines

Jonette Valenciano is grateful to have leapt both feet first into the freelance art life. This has taken her down many currents, and many roles - as an art teacher, comic book writer and illustrator, junior event organizer, copywriter, and more. Stories and story-making empower this published author and exhibited artist, whether by serving as a member of Komiket, a mentor to younger independent creatives, or crafting and collaborating on stories for comic books, tabletop roleplaying games, and other forms of prose. She continues to map out stories rooted in social issues, emotional health, compassion, kindness, and other forms of magic.
